Why you'll love this recipe It's easy to make in large quantities for meal prep and freezing. Heat a tbsp of olive oil in a thick bottom cooking pot. Finely chop the onion, garlic, chili and pepper and bake in the olive oil. So the traditional central American dish is called Chili con Carne, which basically means chilli with meat.

- Bring back to a simmer and add salt and pepper to taste
- Simmer for about 10 minutes
- Serve with your favourite accompaniments! We made wraps out of ours with veganaise, my easy guacamole, shredded violife cheese and crumbled nachos
